Integrative Dentistry

At Grace Dental, we believe your oral health is an essential part of your overall well-being. Our approach to Integrative Dentistry combines evidence-based Western dental care with a whole-person philosophy, recognizing the connection between your mouth and the rest of your body. Rather than focusing solely on treating teeth, we consider the many factors that influence long-term oral health, including nutrition, inflammation, sleep, airway health, saliva, oral bacteria, lifestyle habits, and underlying medical conditions.

Integrative Dentistry is not an alternative to modern dentistry—it's an extension of it. We combine proven clinical treatments with minimally invasive techniques, advanced diagnostics, and thoughtfully selected, research-backed therapies to help prevent disease, preserve your natural smile, and support your overall health.

Every patient is unique, which is why we take the time to understand your health history, oral health goals, and individual risk factors before developing a personalized care plan. Our goal is to help you achieve lasting oral health through prevention, education, and treatments that support both your smile and your overall wellness.

Our Integrative Approach to Care

Personalized Prevention

No two patients have the same oral health needs. We create customized prevention plans based on your medical history, lifestyle, oral health findings, and individual risk factors, allowing us to identify concerns early and reduce the likelihood of future disease.

Oral Microbiome & Biofilm Management

A healthy smile depends on maintaining a balanced oral microbiome. Using advanced biofilm management techniques, we identify and gently remove harmful bacterial biofilm while preserving the healthy oral environment your body needs. We also provide personalized education to help you maintain a healthier oral microbiome between visits.

Saliva Testing & Cavity Risk Assessment

Healthy saliva is one of your body's most important natural defenses against tooth decay. Using SillHa™ Saliva Testing, we evaluate factors such as saliva quality, bacterial activity, and cavity risk to better understand your oral health and develop personalized preventive strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Minimally Invasive Dentistry

Whenever possible, we recommend conservative treatment options that preserve healthy tooth structure and encourage your body's natural ability to maintain oral health. Our philosophy is to treat disease early, intervene thoughtfully, and avoid unnecessary procedures whenever appropriate.

Airway, Sleep & TMJ Screening

Your oral health extends beyond your teeth. As part of a comprehensive evaluation, we assess airway health, signs of sleep-disordered breathing, teeth grinding (bruxism), jaw joint function (TMJ), and bite alignment. Early identification allows us to recommend appropriate treatment or referral when needed, helping improve both oral health and overall quality of life.

Research-Backed Preventive Therapies

We believe prevention should be supported by science. From professionally selected oral hygiene products to fluoride alternatives, Curodont® peptide therapy, advanced biofilm management, and other evidence-based preventive solutions, we recommend products and therapies that are backed by research and personalized to support your long-term oral health.
